Chad Fincher Endorses Bradley Byrne in AL-01

Posted on October 15th, 2013

Mobile, AL – October 15, 2013 – State Representative Chad Fincher endorsed his former opponent, Bradley Byrne, in the Republican Run-off for Alabama’s First Congressional District today.

“I trust that Bradley will go to Congress to stand up for our South Alabama values, and I trust that he will always be honest with the citizens of our district,” Fincher said in his endorsement. Fincher expressed concern over Dean Young’s negative campaigning and pattern of attacks, saying, “We need to elect conservatives who are willing to work with other conservatives to win – not attack fellow conservatives for personal gain.”

“Chad Fincher ran an excellent campaign talking about the issues important to the First Congressional District,” said Byrne. “Chad is a conservative leader in the State House and a strong voice for South Alabama. Rebecca and I are proud to consider him and his wife Caresse friends, and look forward to continuing to work together to improve our region. I would ask all my supporters to please vote for Bradley Byrne on November 5th.”

Fincher, who came in third in the Republican Special Election Primary on September 24th, joins with fourth place finisher Quin Hillyer in endorsing Byrne. The Republican Run-off will be held Tuesday, November 5th.
